Ashton Gardens is an enchanting, beautifully maintained garden in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. This 55 acre oasis features the largest manmade waterfall in the Western Hemisphere.
There are 15 themed gardens to wander through during your visit. Each one unique in it’s design and foliage. You can also wander down to the pond and feed the Koi.
Trellis Cafe: The trellis cafe is an onsite airy restaurant at Ashton Gardens that serves lunch during the Summer. The best part about the restaurant is that it features a beautiful patio where you can eat your meal overlooking the scenery below.
Segway & Golf Cart Rentals: Ashton Gardens also offers rentals to guests for a unique experience.
Tulip Festival: Ashton Gardens is most well known for the Tulip Festival it puts on each year in April. It’s a magical experience where the grounds are filled with beautiful spring flowers of every color, but the highlight is the incredible display of Tulips!
Kids Activities: Ashton Gardens holds a variety of public events throughout the year, including the Tulip Festival, and they always make an effort to have a variety of kids crafts, activities, food vendors and delightful guests to make your visit memorable. It’s much more than just walking through a garden.
There are even a few picnic tables right before the waterfall where you can eat a packed lunch.
